After a quiet fall and winter spent at home, we are getting ready to head out to Osoyoos, British Columbia for a month. We are looking forward to it for a number of reasons. The last few months have been quite chaotic. And, this morning we woke up to this:
Ahhh…..springtime in Alberta.

Osoyoos, BC is a beach town surrounded by Canada’s only living desert region and is 5 km from the BC/US border. Offers a myriad of attractions from wineries to indigenous cultural centres to golf courses to fun on the lake. Osoyoos’s year-round mild weather make it a “snowbird” destination for those who want to stay in Canada. There are plenty of year-round RV parks to chose from, with reasonable monthly rates. If the tulip festival goes ahead in Armstrong, BC, we may head out there for the day. We’re also considering a trip across the border, which will be the first time on US soil since 2019. Stay tuned for highlights from our trip.
