We’ve had our share of Road trip RV repairs. On our RV trip to Southwestern US, we shelled out for two sets of tires. Also, our RV converter went in Idaho; we stopped in Vegas to try to order one, but it was one week for part to arrive, so we made do with a battery charger instead.
Our Trip to South Dakota, the brakes and rotors in the truck went when we were staying in the KOA near Mt Rushmore. We were near a bigger city there and were able to get our truck fixed in a timely matter, which we were extremely grateful for. This breakdown could have happened in the middle of nowhere on our drive there.
RV’s don’t make you money that’s for sure. Today’s RV road trip tip: be prepared for the unexpected and have a contingency fund.
